November 2017 – Boecker® brought over two decades of experience in public health solutions to the annual Gulfood Manufacturing exhibition – the region’s biggest food and beverage processing industry event. Boecker® showcased its new Occupational Health and Safety Lite™ (OHS Lite™) certification programme, which is designed to audit and train on the basis of occupational health and safety, and highlighted its comprehensive pest management services for business and industrial premises, as well as its Infection Control Plan™ (ICP™), an on-site, professional disinfecting service.
October 2017 – Boecker® participated for the first time in the Beirut International Dental Meeting (BIDM), which is held annually by the Lebanese Dental Association. Joining a rich scientific conversation, Boecker® raised awareness on the importance of effectively disinfecting clinics and promoted its range of powerful Microbecs™ disinfectants, which eradicate – as of 30 seconds – harmful pathogens on dental equipment and in clinics, ensuring long lasting protection. Visitors were also presented with the Infection Control Plan™ – ICP™, a powerful on-site service from Boecker® that eliminates microorganisms and controls the spread of diseases in hard-to-clean and hard-to-reach surfaces as well as in the air.
October 2017 – Food safety professionals across all Boecker® branches convened in October for the annual in-house Regional Food Safety Conference. The three-day event aims to review the year’s performance and achievements in the food safety business line, and to empower consultants with new insights, and further training and certification. Boecker® CEO, Mr. Michel Bayoud, also addressed the team and reiterated the business line’s vision and strategies, ending his presentation by declaring 2018 the year for food safety.
October 2017 – With the onset of a new school year, the spread of infectious diseases can often increase. One example is the Coxsackievirus, which is the most common cause of the hand, foot, and mouth disease (HFMD). The HFMD causes fevers, blisters and sores in the mouth and throat and a rash that spreads on the palms of the hands and the soles of the feet. The virus is particularly prevalent in young children as their immune systems are less resilient, but can also occur in adults. Boecker® Infection Control Plan™ – ICP™ and Microbecs disinfectant constitute the ideal solution to control the spread of diseases and minimize chances of infection.
September 2017 – In line with its goals to always empower communities, Boecker® has pledged to support the Ten Principles of the United Nations Global Compact on human rights, labour, environment and anti-corruption. The UN Global Compact is the world’s largest corporate sustainability initiative, bringing together over 9500 businesses to commit to socially responsible business practices. Boecker® will launch this initiative through the UN Global Compact’s Lebanon Network to help address the country’s corporate sustainability needs, with gradual regional expansion.
