Boecker® participated as the Gold Sponsor at Horeca 2018 for its special 25-year edition exhibition which was celebrated at Seaside Arena, Beirut. Boecker® was also the only official hygiene sponsor of the Hospitality Salon Culinaire.
At the opening day of the exhibition, Boecker® hosted a “Food Safety System Awards Ceremony” on stand in the presence of the president of Syndicate of Owners of Restaurants in Lebanon Mr. Tony Al Ramy, where ISO 22000 and HACCP consultancy certificates were presented to more than 20 Boecker® clients for their achievements; while our certified food safety consultants were auditing the running competitions. Winners of the competitions were congratulated by Boecker® and offered Hygiene awards along with training vouchers and food safety tools.
The Boecker® stand attracted hundreds of local and international visitors daily, as Minister of Tourism, Mr. Avedis Guidanian, passed by and was impressed with the diversified services that Boecker® offers to the Hospitality industry and are directly related to the quality of goods offered to consumers in general and tourists in particular. We also welcomed H.E. H.E. Tokumitsu Murakami, Ambassador of Japan, who visited the stand right after attending an interesting lecture presented by Boecker® entitled: “WASHOKU Japanese Cuisine: We’ve got you covered” about the importance of Food Safety in Sushi; expressing the importance of information that Boecker® professionals are giving to run any food establishment smoothly and save its reputation.
We also had the pleasure to have Chef Moustafa Seif, the winner of TOP CHEF 2018’s edition, on stand and offered him our sponsorship award that is a trip to London to receive the Science and knowledge award from the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health, UK.
