Fleas

A Terrible Pest

Warm temperatures are ideal for flea reproduction and development. At Boecker®, our certified pest control experts make it their priority to stay one jump ahead of fleas. Flea control can be complicated in the extreme climates of the Middle East because of the warm temperatures.

Both humans and pets can suffer from flea bites. Although most fleas don’t live on humans, they can bite humans, causing skin irritation, allergies, and human diseases such as typhus, tularemia, and in extreme cases the Bubonic Plague.

Leveraging more than 20 years industry experience, our team of pest control specialists provide reliable pest control services. Based on a scientific approach called Integrated Pest Management™ (IPM™), Boecker® Residential Pest control services provide you the peace of mind that comes with knowing your pest problem is over.

QUICK FACTS ABOUT FLEAS

Fleas are small, wingless insects that measure about 2.5 mm long. Their bodies are a shiny, reddish brown color. They are covered with microscopic hair which makes it easy for them to crawl through animal hair. Although fleas do not have wings, they are capable of jumping long distances.

Fleas depend on blood from a host to survive, including your pets. When fleas make your animal their living host, they become an inside problem. Once inside your home, fleas will continue to focus their feeding activity on other hosts that reside inside the home (including other pets and people).

FAST, EFFECTIVE FLEA PEST MANAGEMENT

We’re not satisfied until you’re 100% satisfied. Every pest control solution Boecker® offers is customized for your home and your specific pest problem. We want you to feel confident that your pest control expectations will be met.

FLEA CONTROL DOWN TO A SCIENCE

Flea infestations require a comprehensive plan that includes not only killing the source but also treating the contaminated environment (such as your carpets, furniture, and bedding). Keeping fleas away is not a one-time event – it’s a process.

With award-winning training and advanced technology, our pest control specialists will locate the conditions which attract fleas, treat current problems, and provide pet and yard care tips to help prevent future pesky fleas from jumping aboard.
